Olubukola Adeyeye, MD, MPH, FAAP (fondly called Dr. A) is a board-certified pediatrician. She obtained her medical degree from OAU College of Health Sciences in Nigeria and completed her residency at Woodhull Medical Center/ New York University School of Medicine. In addition, she has a Masters of Public Health degree from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
She worked as a pediatrician in New York prior to moving to Longview, TX, and has continued serving the East Texas community where she is an active staff member at both LRMC and CGSMC. Dr. A is passionate about preventive healthcare, development, and overall wellness of her patients from the newborn period till late adolescence.
Dr. A wrote her first book in 2022, The Heart Behind the Stethoscope. She is married to Ayotunde Adeyeye, MD who is also a pediatrician. Together, they have three adorable soccer-loving children. She is a personable, compassionate, and fun-loving pediatrician who loves connecting with children and families.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, doing activities that strengthen her faith in God, listening to music, podcasts, watching superhero movies, and reading books. Her favorite book is Prodigal God by Timothy Keller.
